Livejournal, 2003-08-13 If you could live anywhere on earth for the rest of your life, where would it be and why? Either the Yukon or northern British Columbia. I love mountainous boreal forest. I could feel completely at home with nothing around me except trees, rock, and wolves. What is your worst childhood memory? I have many, but the absolute worst has to be when I contracted a virus (to this day I don't know what it was) and came close to death. I was seven years old. I took a month off school and lay in a near-comatose state during which I hallucinated about falling into a fiery red sea. I vomited every five minutes even while unconscious. My parents and doctor were almost to the stage of making funeral arrangements, but a nurse jabbed me in the thigh with a needle the size of a pencil and I unexpectedly recovered. After this incident, I'm not afraid of death. It's dying that sucks. What sort of things make you feel "wolfy" or trigger any sort of shift? Being outdoors. I love to be among nature, even if "nature" happens to be my own backyard. I exhibit outwardly lupine traits on a daily basis but it's more instinct than a full mental shift. What is your favorite kind of candy? If chocolate doesn't count, then Starburst. I can go through a pack of the stuff in a day. I also love the bubblegum that comes in toothpaste tubes. While I'm not a big fan of junk food, everyone needs to indulge once in awhile. What would your dream house look like, inside and out? Good question. I like the whole Victorian look. Dark, with a wrought-iron gate surrounding the property and gargoyles to scare off visitors. ;) The inside would have wooden floors, antique lanterns in the halls, and walls painted in rich jewel tones. Paintings are a must. Wolf statues would guard every doorway. I would have to reserve a room to paint forest-green and fill with plants to make my canine personality feel more at home. Who ever said I'm a practical decorator? |
